Matthew designs, paints, silver stains and fabricates Stained Glass. Working to commission he uses the age old techiniques of traditional kiln fired vitreous paints, silver stains and enamels with handmade glass to create artworks in light. He has 20 years of experience in the craft and produces work of the highest standards, be it modern interpretations or perfect matches to existing glasswork. Having been fortunate to study under a number of experts in the field he also teaches the craft himself both as an associate at Exeter College but mainly as a freelance educator from his own Devon Applied Arts Workshop.
